Innovation
ECLER strongly believes that INNOVATION is a must in order to provide the market its demanding audio solutions in the most pioneering way. Several Technological achievements like SMP Technology, class D amplification, and many other applied to DJ mixing are the results of ECLER's main targets: innovation
Service
People is one of our main assets: Relational marketing, product channel specialists, Technical Assistance Service, training and partnership are some of our goals which reflects how we conceive SERVICE. |
| Ecler HistoryThe 60's
We started in 1965, producing quite accordingly items for those "psicodelic years": "turntable-suitcases" and "TV plastic filters". Short after we presented the sophisticated "Comparator", the first ECLER?s goal in Europe.
Instantaneously comparison between different models of the parts within the Hi-Fi chain was possible. Those were also the times of our first 3 channel psicodelic light unit. All in one, answers to an era.
The 70's arrive with the mixers
Winds of changes came together with the 70?s. The first mixers with "faders", like the popular AC-4, were built. Later the mythical MAC 4 and MAC 5 with their sloping panel, and new lighting products too. We also left the craftsmanship production and started industrial production processes which became the basement of our company expansion. Those were also the years of the EGM 10-2, our first equalizer; the FAS 2-2, one of the first filters with front panel cut-off frequency indicators.
Export and take-off
In 1985 sales grew by a 70%. We produced the SCLAT 10, our first modular mixer. Evolution from black to grey came together with the launching of the MAC 8-2 and MAC 6-2E mixers. They were the beginning of ECLER?s strong presence in the international market and since then export has been both an important activity and a Keystone in the Company?s take-off.
R+D: The consolidation of our company
The new FAP filters and MAC 2, MAC 4-2E and STACK mixers came short before the 90?s as a prelude of the most important research project in ECLER?s history: the SPM TECHNOLOGY amplifiers line. Together with the SPM (1991) these last years have been plenty of new products and technologies: the broadcast mixer STACKCAST (1990); the MAC 60, MAC 60S and SCLAT 8 mixers (1991); the KOMPAK amplifiers series (1993) or the most recent loudspeakers design and production. These are, among other exemples, the ones that consolidate our company and reinforce our clear calling for the future.
SPM Technology
With the PAM 500 and 800 launching in the market ECLER started a way which drove the company to today's SIXTY E and 4th generation PRO range, two lines of amplification with more than 10 models in total. In 1997 ECLER received the Award for Technological Innovation from the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan autonomous government) in recognition of SPM technology's trajectory.
International projects / Industrial sound
100 V LINE. From 1992 the company has been involved in big audio projects. (See References). Using the SPM technology as a basis, in 1998 ECLER launched the SPM 100 technology, this technology achieves the use of 100 volt line wiring system without amplifier output transformers. Sound quality and efficiency are considerably improved.
21th CENTURY ECLER GOES DIGITAL
Our R+D strengths itself with new resources and overcome new challenges and projects that lead to new product lines.
NUO 5 (2004) first world DJ mixer including an Effects module totally programmable via USB and specific control software EDI LAB.
NUO 4 (2005) a DJ mixer with MIDI external devices control capabilities. Now DJs can control specific mixing software standards in the market and any other MIDI system like sequencers or keyboards.
Specially developed Control 4 LAB software allows natural and intuitive system setup.
2004 - DIGITAL TRI LEVEL TECHNOLOGY
More than 2 years of investigation and investments have now a result of an unmatchable new power amplifiers line : DT4800 and DT6800. In few words DT amplifiers deliver more than 3000W in less than 10kg. Excellent sound reproduction with less power consumption in a real PWM architecture including switching power supply minimizing reactive load through a revolutionary Power Factor Corrector module. ECLER have reached the high end technology in power amplification.
2005 - FOURTY YEARS IN THE PRO AUDIO BUSSINES
2005 represents the 40th anniversary of ECLER in the professional audio business. New challenges? New architectural speaker cabinets range, new DPC7000 processed system, first self amplified speakers and many more.
New installations worldwide: retail chains, hotels, clubs, hospitals, leisure centres, cinemas, transport stations, sports pavilions, universities, lecture rooms, conference rooms, religious centres, shopping centres domotics installations and more are setting ECLER as the right choice for the Installer, the System Integrator and End User. And more...
Regarding amplification products with the 2005 launched DPA and DPA-T series, ECLER created a new device with a main goal: to turn an ECLER amplifier into a complete audio solution under an easy of use interface. AMIC just arrived but the success of the product is still out there.
WHAT IS NEXT?
Under this scope, first steps are settled towards the future. All this years of experience are a milestone but also a new starting point. The challenge is nevertheless still the same:
"Design and manufacture Professional Audio products offering solutions on a reliability, innovation and service basis". |
