Following on from the success of the ground-breaking Vestax QFO turntable, Vestax has answered the prayers of many dj's and turntablists who wanted a Vestax QFO-style product at a more affordable price by releasing the Vestax QFO LE. The real original ideas are still there, along with most of the main features, but costs have been saved by removing the eq section, fitting the standard ASTS tone arm in place of the Active Balance arm, and reducing the pitch options.

The Vestax QFO LE has broken the barriers of the common DJ set-up, of mixer in the middle with turntables on each side. A new form of musical expression is captured with the turntable centered with mixer functions encompassing the unit.

FUNCTIONS OF THE VESTAX QFO LE\n\n - 60% Pitch Control - A new style of pitch controlling is now possible thanks to the Spin Slide Pitch control. Sliding 180 degrees with a selection of 3 control modes and a variety of linked scrtach moves. It is also very important feature when you're creating melodies with single note records.\n\n - Shock Proof Detachable Fader - A conductive plastic PCV fader has been applied with a new shock absorbent technology called, Shock Proof method, securing supreme stability for the turntable.\n\n - Monitor System - Unique stereo system that can select each PGM and MASTER with a 3 pointer lever switch. Rehearsal play can be performed without sending sound to the hall when MASTER is slected, and headphone jacks can be selected from a 1/4 inch headphone jack or a mini headphone jack.\n\n - Reverse & Curve Switch for input and cross fader.\n\n - The 4 foot insulators can be detached easily and 2 belt hooks (not included) can be attached for playing the Vestax QFO LE by a strap.\n\n - Digital scratching is now possible by mounting the Vestax TT-M1 on the Vestax QFO LE and connecting it to the CDX-05. With this new combination, music CDs and MP3s can be digitally scratched by using the Vestax QFO LE as an interface. Scratching like never before.\n\n\nThe differences between the Vestax QFO and Vestax QFO LE are:\n\n1. Vestax QFO LE has a phono input allowing the end user to connect a turntable to the Vestax QFO. The original Vestax QFO only has line inputs for MP3 players and CD players.\n\n2. The Vestax QFO LE uses the "A.S.T.S." Tonearm and the QFO features the "Dynamic Balance" Tonearm. The Dynamic Balance tonearm is slightly better by allowing the user to use the Vestax QFO at any angle. The Vestax QFO LE can only play up to a 40 degree angle.\n\n3. The Vestax QFO has a two band EQ per channel. The Vestax QFO LE does not offer the EQ's.
